Monument Avenue Residence

A complete renovation of a prestigious Charlestown row house into a new single family home after years as 3-family residences. Included in the development is a wonderful garden with a relocated greenhouse in the rear yard surrounded by an elaborate masonry wall. There was extensive restoration to the historic interiors and the insertion of modern mechanical systems, baths and kitchen. The project maintained a very high level of craft and custom detailing throughout. The entire exterior envelope was upgraded and modernized, meeting historic preservation standards while significantly improving energy performance. A fabulous roof terrace with city-wide views and spacious contemporary headhouse was added.
