Burroughs Street Condos

This housing renovation included the conversion of a 5,000 sf commercial nursing home into three separate residential units. The project called for two small "car barns" for garages, two new units and the conversion of the original home. The new porches and site plan integrate the complex gracefully into the surrounding neighborhood. The varied detail and unit arrangement create a rich dialogue between the two buildings in an effort to eliminate the feeling of a condominum complex, but rather a historic family compound.
